Club History

Solent Yacht Club formed in 1878 with HQ in George Hotel.
Remained there until present premises built in 1894 immediately eastwards of Yarmouth Pier, within a short walk of the harbour. This is an unrivalled position commanding the Western Solent A perfect location for racing both in the Western Solent and Christchurch Bay
