Bar

The Club's bar has unrivalled views of the Western Solent. It is open daily apart from Mondays during the winter months.

Catering

As well as providing daily Bar Snacks and Lunches, the Club can cater for presentations, buffets, cocktail parties and dinners. The Dining room also has unique views of the Solent and can seat about 80. For larger numbers, a marquee in the club grounds can add extra space and atmosphere to seasonal events.

Moorings

There are Club moorings available to Members for the season or part season. There are occasionally a small number of deep water moorings for visiting yachts. Please contact the Secretary by email or phone 01983 760256 for availability and reservations.

Launch Service

A launch service is available to boats on Club moorings at weekends and on Wednesdays from 1630 - 2030. If the Boatmen are required at other times, please contact the Secretary in advance.

Race Organisation

The Club is ideally placed to host and organise major events. The Folkboat Association has held its national championships here for over thirty years and the Association's Walcon Cup, an international team racing event, has been raced under the organisation of the Club since its inception. The Royal Artillery Yacht Club has held its annual regatta at the Club for over fifty years and the Sigma 33 Class and Contessa 32 Class have also held their national championships under the Club's burgee. With a fast and powerful mark-laying launch, different course configurations can be laid easily and quickly, either in the Solent or in adjacent Christchurch Bay, an area with gentle tides and ideal for laid courses.
