The Bar and Dining Room are situated on the first floor of the Club and command uninterrupted panoramic views of the Solent from Egypt Point at Cowes in the East through to Hurst Castle and the Narrows in the West. We believe these views to be unparalled and they may be enhanced by viewing through our massive ‘battleship’ style binoculars through which one may read the time on Lymington Town Hall clock !!
The Dining Room can seat up to 100 with a further 25 in the West Room.
All the dining room tables have views over the Solent.
The Dining Room is organised according to the function for which it is being used, from the most formal dinners to intimate tables for two and it can be completely closed off from the bar.
When the weather permits the patio style doors can be opened onto the balcony, which is also accessible from the bar, for alfresco dining.
Bookings for private functions are taken through the Office and an information pack is provided so that we may meet individual requirements.
The West room is ideal for winter bookings when its fire provides a cosy ambience which makes one reluctant to leave.
The well appointed bar makes an ideal meeting and eating place at any time of the day and again one may enjoy a meal and a drink looking out over the Solent.
The balcony is well sheltered from the prevailing winds and provides a pleasant extension with seating in both sun and shade.
Drinks and light meals can also be served on the lawn, weather permitting.
