Rally programme

The Royal Solent organises a varied Rally programme each year which are open to all members regardless of vessel type. The programme for 2005 is given below, with information about the Motor Yacht Section and an important disclaimer.
Members cruising to the Continent and Channel Islands are reminded that it is necessary to carry your vessel's papers, insurance, VHF Licence, passports for everyone and importantly an International Certificate of Competence issued by the RYA, as a minimum requirement.

Please do not forget to keep Logs, especially for the longer voyages. The Club has several trophies which include:
The John Leonard Trophy for the motor vessel which has travelled the furthest in any one voyage; this trophy is presented at the Annual Motor Yacht Club Dinner. Also the Morva Cup awarded for the best account of a cruise in a Sailing or Motor Yacht by a Club Member, and the Roger Goodwin Tankard awarded to a Club Member, either Skipper or Crew, who in the view of the General Committee has taken part in a cruise of exceptional nature.
